MESSAGE OF DAY

In this world, in which you are a traveler, you should not act like a dweller.

Knowledge which does not reach the heart cannot turn into wisdom.

Ahmad al-Rifâ’î said: “The signs of wisdom are three: To be patient in times of difficulty, to be modest in times of ease and richness, and to undertake every action in moderation.”

A happy family life as described by the Qur’an depends on love, mutual respect and sacrifice.

When Sahl al-Tustari was asked about noble conduct, he said: “The lowest degree of noble conduct is to bear with patience the troubles given by others, not to take revenge, to show kindness to the oppressor, and to ask forgiveness for and to be kind to him.” (Ihya, III, 163)

Mawlana Jalal al-Din al-Rumi states: “Do not seek my grave on earth, for I am buried in the hearts of those who possess knowledge of Allah.”

It must not be forgotten that a felicitous death is the reward of a life of service spent within the spiritual illumination of the Qur’an and Sunna.

Children are a beautiful fruit of the family nest. They are a Divine trust.

The most important duty of parents is to equip the children, who were entrusted to them in the primordial state with goodness and to raise dutiful children.

One at the head of service must embrace service with a greater diligence and exertion than those working under them, so that they can lead by example.

A believer must forget complaint even at the moment when all afflictions and tribulations strike with all their might. They must consider the good that will ultimately come to them when they are patient, and thus maintain their repose.

Terrorism is the result of a lack of love and mercy as the hearts of terrorists never lodge such sublime feelings.

The human being rises in spiritual rank in accordance with the worthiness of the one towards which  they feel love. In this sense, the love felt for one who is not worthy is a great loss.
