MESSAGE OF DAY

It is essential that one begin with kind words and speak to heart.

The predicament of those who forget the Hereafter and who set their heart on this world resembles a ship whose rudder post breaks in the middle of the ocean. It is not known in which vortex they will be swept up.

Allah the Almighty has provided everything in the world for the service of mankind (Jāthiya, 45:13)

The most magnificent of conquerors is the conqueror of hearts. Happy are those who render their hearts a court of mercy and who revive broken hearts in their own heart’s palace.

Those who are always with the virtuous become one of them and those who are with the oppressors become oppressors and partners to their oppression and crime.  

Ahmad al-Rifâ’î said: “The signs of wisdom are three: To be patient in times of difficulty, to be modest in times of ease and richness, and to undertake every action in moderation.”

It is absolutely necessary to have knowledge, wisdom, competence, dignity, a strong character and disposition if we are to succeed in serving others.

Those who have given their hearts to Islam and would like to serve the religion should know that Islam aims first and foremost at reviving humanity.

Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: “A person is with those they love.”

“Allah Almighty beautifies the world of one who practices their religion.” Hadrat Ali (r.a)

Chastity is a quality which pertains to the human being.

“…a man should say to his soul every morning, “God has given thee twenty-four treasures; take heed lest thou lose anyone of them, for thou wilt not be able to endure the regret that will follow such loss.” ― Abu Hamid al-Ghazali, The Alchemy Of Happiness

The Prophet (pbuh) once said: “Allah commanded me to be modest, so let none of you become proud.”

It is essential that priority be given to spiritual training and instruction in piety and righteousness in  the acquisition of the religious sciences. For that which enables a person to earn Divine approval is not their diploma in religious education but the piety they have within their heart.
