In the world, the weak are in need of the powerful, the poor in need of the rich and the infirm in need of the healthy. In the Hereafter, however, the powerful are in need of the weak, the healthy in need of the infirm and the rich in need of the poor.
Oppression is of various kinds: Just as ruling against Allah’s will is oppression, calling for or consenting to oppression is also oppression.
“And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death).” Al-Hijr 99
The sign of a deed’s rejection is its being followed by misdeeds; worse still is the evil which follows an act of goodness, wiping out that act of goodness.
In the world, the weak are in need of the powerful, the poor in need of the rich and the infirm in need of the healthy. In the Hereafter, however, the powerful are in need of the weak, the healthy in need of the infirm and the rich in need of the poor.
Wealth that cannot be spent in the way of Allah becomes an instrument for evil and constitutes capital for the carnal desires leading a servant to depravity.
Everything in this world is known through its opposite. As the opposite of love is hate, hating those things hated by Allah is a requirement of loving Him.
Mawlana Jalal al-Din al-Rumi says: “Entreat God and turn to Him in repentance with a heart filled with the fire of remorse and with eyes filled with tears. For flowers bloom in places sunlit and moist.”
The greatest sign of a heart filled with love of Allah is treating the servants of Allah with forgiveness and compassion.
Shaykh Naqshband says, “There is no good or blessing in an affair that is undertaken in anger, heedlessness, reluctance, or by force.”

Abu Bakr, may Allah be well pleased with him, says: “Goodness to the people protects a person from disaster and misfortune.”
The propitious of wealth is that which is spent for the sake of Allah in good health and is thus sent to the Hereafter before its owner. The propitious of life is that which is spent in the way of Allah.
“En verdad que Allah nunca cambiará la condición de la gente hasta que no cambien lo que hay en ellos.” (Ra’d, 13:11)
Abandoning jealousy is protecting the body.
