MESSAGE OF DAY

The measure of true richness is not abundance of wealth and an inflated wallet, but is contentment and spending from the heart.

Sufism is the science of humanity. It is the ability to slip away from the egotistic world and dive deep into the world of the soul. It is the effort to comprehend wisdom. It is the door which opens up to the truth of humanity.

“Oh Allah, bless us in Rajab and Sha’ban and make us reach Ramadan!”

As the body has strength, so do the eyes. Energy comes from the eyes. If one looks with mercy, the immerging energy will be of mercy. If one looks with sultry and jealous eyes, the immerging energy will be negative. Therefore, looks of the righteous project positivity whereas looks of the malevolent project negativity.

A person does not become a friend of Allah through his external beauty, height or posture.  Rather, one becomes a friend of Allah through the inner world of the heart.

The highest prices are paid for the sake of love. The degree to which we love something is measured with our level of sacrifice and the risks we take in its cause.

“Everyone in the heavens and everyone in the earth ask forgiveness for a man of knowledge, even the fish in the water.” Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

There is a polish for everything that removes the rust; the polish for the heart is remembrance of Allah. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

“Is it at all reasonable for caravans to construct houses on their journey?” Imam Shafi’i

Our aim ought to be leading our lives in accordance with the guidance of Allah’s Messenger, upon him be peace and blessings. For all paths other than his path are no through roads.

Musa Efendi, may Allah sanctify his secret, states: “Showing mercy towards the creation of Allah Almighty alongside obedience to His commandments is required, and this can only be achieved through self-sacrifice and sincere service…”

Remembering Allah does not only mean repeating His name several times. It means to be in a state that is conscious and aware of Him, engraving Him on our hearts.

O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. [62-9]

The Messengership of the Light of Creation, upon him be peace and blessings, was in a sense the struggle against the terror of the Age of Ignorance.
