A believer must forget complaint even at the moment when all afflictions and tribulations strike with all their might. They must consider the good to come to them when they are patient, and must thus maintain their repose.

Perfected believers, in accordance with the principle, “One who does not know how to forgive cannot be forgiven,” are very forgiving towards the servants of Allah in order to be deserving of Divine forgiveness.
The servant cannot attain perfected belief without raising their love and attachment for their Lord above the love and attachment they feel for mortals.
The privilege of prayer is stated in the following sayings of the Prophet (pbuh): “Allah did not enjoin anything superior than belief and prayer. If He were to enjoin anything superior, He would enjoin it on the angels. Whereas some of the angels bow down and some of them prostrate night and day.
The human being rises in spiritual rank in accordance with the worthiness of the one towards which they feel love. In this sense, the love felt for one who is not worthy is a great loss.
